What believers are saying

  • Valentina Lucaj joined June 23, 2026, bringing Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Saint Laurent experience.
  • Guess's Q1 2026 revenue rose 9%, with Rag & Bone contributing nine growth points.
  • Rag & Bone operates 67 stores globally, giving Lucaj immediate physical and wholesale scale.

What critics are saying

  • Guess's 2026 take-private shifts Rag & Bone strategy toward portfolio discipline, not brand independence.
  • Rag & Bone still depends on U.S. sales; international revenue was only 12% in 2026.
  • If AW26 menswear and expansion underperform, Guess can rationalize stores and slow brand investment.

What makes Rag & Bone unique

  • Rag & Bone pairs British tailoring with New York sportswear; Swaim Hutson debuts AW26 in Florence.
  • Mini Miramar extends denim trompe l’oeil into childrenswear, broadening the signature Miramar platform.
  • Guess and WHP added Rag & Bone's operating assets, distribution, and retail reach in 2024.
