Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent related experience is required.
  • The ability to interpret or extract information and perform arithmetic functions is required.
  • Basic computer knowledge, record keeping, or word processing may be required.
  • Good communication skills are required.
  • CPR training is required and may be completed upon hire.
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Availability for varying day, evening, night, holiday, and weekend assignments is required.
  • Close-toed shoes are the responsibility of the team member.
  • Hair must be kept well-groomed, and facial piercings and uncovered tattoos must comply with workplace appearance guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • Greet all guests in a friendly, positive manner and make personal connections so they feel welcome and valued.
  • Sell the property according to the company’s sales standard.
  • Gather guest information, including address details, credit card information, and signatures.
  • Follow daily shift checklists and complete tasks required for smooth hotel operations.
  • Record special needs, requests, and unusual occurrences in Quore and communicate them to the next shift.
  • Complete required emergency training and remain knowledgeable about emergency procedures.
  • Maintain a neat and clean workspace at the front desk and adjacent areas.
  • Perform property walk-arounds, address issues encountered, collect trash and used items, identify safety or security issues, and report problems to the appropriate department and General Manager.
  • Settle and reconcile guest accounts and paperwork.
  • Balance the cash drawer and make appropriate cash drops.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel policies, services, and amenities.
  • Respond to guest requests for assistance and information about surrounding-area directions, dining, and entertainment.
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve problems tactfully and professionally.
  • Maintain open communication between all hotel departments.
  • Follow company processes.
  • Maintain regular and recurrent attendance.
  • Perform other duties requested by management.
