  • Must be enrolled in a full time Bachelor's degree program in Fall 2024
  • Pursing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Good academic standing with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building trust
  • Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Able to solve problems creatively and analytically
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship
Responsibilities
  • Analyze the 3D solid models (NX CAD) of the new designs concurrently, during development, within the digitized twin of the existing product to thwart fit/alignment issues and identify improvement opportunities (i.e. cost, sourcing, producibility, manufacturability, configurability, cycle time, logistics, start-up, maintenance, etc.)
  • Develop the manufacturing strategy in alignment with the planned marketing and existing supply chain strategies
  • Transform new designs into effective Product Option Structures that produce Bills Of Material (BOM) that support how it will be marketed, configured, sourced, manufactured, shipped and started up
  • Partner with the central tooling design organization to develop and procure manufacturing specific tooling
  • Develop storyboard style manufacturing documentation for supply chain and manufacturing technicians
  • Partner with Volume Test Manufacturing Engineers to create test fixtures & procedures
