- Experience with campus recruitment.
- Experience leading a function, such as a team or department, and managing others.
- Comfort working in a virtual organization with digital tools including G-Suite, Slack, Jira, and Salesforce.
- Work with the COLE Leadership team to develop and implement strategies for recruiting college and university students as volunteer instructors.
- Lead the College Engagement Team to source, engage, invite to apply, screen, and onboard volunteer college students interested in helping JerseySTEM as program instructors.
- Manage Handshake outreach efforts by identifying and contacting viable candidates.
- Collaborate with the Curriculum Team Volunteer Program Director and other stakeholders to develop and refine the volunteer instructor training program.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of individual college student engagement strategies and adjust them as needed to achieve program goals.
- Work with the Volunteer Program Director to align college engagement strategies with overall program goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to Program Instructor recruiters, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Conduct or attend weekly virtual team meetings, monthly Department Heads Meetings, and quarterly board meetings.
- Outreach experience.
- A flexible schedule allowing daytime calls with school administrators during the work week.
