Pitching in
We're a small team, so you'll also help with adjacent tasks outside your channels, such as uploading and publishing new products to our website and proofreading marketing copy. You'll also help with video: we'd love for you to shoot simple 30-second videos on your phone for our social channels, and occasionally lend a hand on larger shoots, like helping with lighting. No video production or editing expertise is needed, since we have a team member who handles our videography and video editing.
Strategy here is shared, and we expect you to be flexible and take on other projects as they come up. We're looking for someone who understands what digital marketing is and isn't, and who uses good judgment about where effort pays off. This isn't for someone who wants a single narrow lane. If “that's not my job” is your instinct, this team won't be a fit.
You're a fit if...
You have 1+ year managing business social accounts, or a portfolio that shows it
You've launched at least one Meta ad campaign, even a small one
You read results and can say what you'd change and why
You write clearly and proofread your own work
You can handle several kinds of tasks without dropping details
Helpful, but not required.
Klaviyo or similar email tools, Adobe Photoshop, BigCommerce, basic SEO, basic HTML/CSS, interest in automotive, electronics, or right to repair.
