Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience as a senior systems analyst or developer with J2EE and Java technologies.
  • Solid working experience with Java, object-oriented programming, service-oriented architecture, modular code development, design patterns, and multithreading.
  • Experience with server back-end and application programming interface/service development.
  • Experience with the DROOLS Rules Engine, including Workbench, GDST, Guided Rule Engine, and Execution Server.
  • Experience with Spring, Servlet, web services, XML, XSLT, SOA, AJAX, JUnit or TestNG, Maven, Oracle, UNIX, GIT Stash, Accurev, TCP/IP, and HTTP.
  • A bachelor's degree in the area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Understanding of enterprise-class software development best practices and agile methodology.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
  • Design and code software applications from specifications.
  • Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement complex software applications.
  • Use coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality.
  • Participate in evaluating, recommending, and selecting hardware and software solutions.
  • Perform expert-level engineering tasks involving the analysis, design, and development of computer hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and operating systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and report intranet metrics.
  • Interface with different departments regarding new deployments.
  • Research and analyze data-processing functions, methods, and procedures.
  • Monitor program execution for expected performance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Mobile web experience.
  • Experience with Spring Integration and caching or similar technologies.
