Requirements
  • BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Working experience with antenna design/tests, antenna and wave propagation, anechoic chambers, and radiation performance evaluation like TRP & TIS.
  • Working experience with different lab equipment: network analyzers, signal generators, signal analyzers, call boxes (i.e., CMW/ UXM/ 8960), channel emulators, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills required, both written & verbal.
  • MS degree in technical discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with different wireless communication systems such as GSM/GPRS/EDGE/LTE, 5G mmWave, etc. including the corresponding system level specifications.
  • Experience with carrier/ industry conformance radiated performance requirements like 3GPP, PTCRB, CTIA, ETSI, etc.
  • Working experience on device setup and log analysis.
  • Programming skills in C, C++, Python, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Validating OTA Cellular test cases for different carrier/industry conformance requirements in certification test setups.
  • Translating industry conformance/ regulatory/ carrier specification requirements into test cases. Coordinating with regulatory compliance/ carrier management teams to ensure product validation covers all certification/performance tests.
  • Define/execute validation plan for custom SW features
  • Debugging marginal/failure tests with cross-functional teams like RFHW /Antenna/ Product Design/EE/etc. and drive design changes to address issues
  • Maintain test setups via periodic checks, calibration, etc.
  • Drive planning/executing on final radiated certification testing at 3rd party test labs for PTCRB/CTIA testing.
