Requirements
  • Candidates must have 3-5 years or more of progressive hotel food and beverage experience.
  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a senior role in a food and beverage environment.
  • Candidates must possess proven leadership skills and a proven track record in high-volume concepts.
  • Candidates must have clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Candidates must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
  • Candidates must have experience implementing new food and beverage concepts.
  • Candidates must possess a current and valid Washington food handler’s permit and MAST permit.
  • Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of hospitality professionals.
  • Deliver exceptional guest and corporate experiences by setting high standards and finding new ways to exceed them.
  • Manage food and beverage standards to support responsible business practices.
  • Work closely with the Hotel Manager and finance team to set, monitor, and refine budgets and drive revenue.
  • Oversee multiple food and beverage outlets, banquets, and in-room dining facilities, as well as managers and supervisors.
  • Motivate and manage front-of-house food and beverage colleagues.
  • Assist with budget and marketing plans and objectives, and manage within approved plans.
  • Implement and maintain food and beverage sales and marketing programs.
  • Mentor employees and oversee their development.
  • Hire, train, empower, coach, counsel, and conduct annual performance reviews for employees.
  • Direct the implementation of payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory, and budgets for food and beverage operations.
  • Coordinate food and beverage operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service.
  • Resolve guest complaints as appropriate to maintain customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Implement procedures to increase guest and associate satisfaction.
  • Exercise quality control for food and beverage operations.
  • Maintain standards of service and ensure their implementation.
  • Perform daily walkthroughs to ensure compliance with Department of Health regulations and brand standards.
  • Coach and counsel employees to reflect brand service standards and procedures.
  • Maintain schedules for multiple outlets each week based on forecast and event schedules.
  • Ensure all colleagues maintain current food and alcohol permits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience with point-of-sale systems is preferred.
