About the company

Remedy Robotics builds the Remedy N1 System, a remotely operable endovascular surgical robotics platform. It lets specialist physicians perform minimally invasive cardiovascular and neurointerventional procedures from any location by combining proprietary robotic hardware with AI-powered software. A portable console lets remote clinicians control multiple tools (guidewires, catheters, stents) inside catheterization labs, while AI fuses imaging data from CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy for real-time navigation. The company differentiates itself by enabling true teleoperation to overcome geographic care gaps, demonstrated by the world’s first fully remote neurointerventional procedures in humans across two hospitals. Its goal is to expand access to gold-standard endovascular treatments for millions of patients who currently lack timely specialist care, by scaling deployment in hospitals and enhancing its AI capabilities.

What believers are saying

  • SVIN selected Remedy as exclusive robotics partner in October 2025, validating distribution potential.
  • Medical Design & Outsourcing covered Remedy's remote stroke approach in June 2026.
  • The Toronto demonstrations proved 8-millisecond latency and no bedside interventionist requirements.

What critics are saying

  • XCath won FDA Breakthrough Device designation in September 2026, overtaking remote stroke leadership.
  • Remedy still lacks FDA approval; 2026 clinical-trial preparation delays commercialization.
  • If pivotal trials fail, Remedy's no-sale N1 remains a research curiosity.

What makes Remedy Robotics unique

  • Remedy completed fully remote neurointerventional procedures between Toronto hospitals in October 2025.
  • Its N1 performs entire endovascular procedures with onsite, remote, or autonomous control.
  • Remedy holds 45 patents and integrates AI navigation with existing catheterization labs.
