Requirements
  • 1-3 years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of supply planning, production planning, and scheduling.
  • Ability to use enterprise resource planning and material requirements planning systems.
  • Ability to pass the required physical, drug, driving, and background checks.
  • Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to stoop and bend.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four or more hours at a time.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure material availability to meet daily production demands and achieve goals and metrics.
  • Analyze daily material status and present shortages to customers in daily conference calls.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure order planning and fulfillment.
  • Participate in daily production meetings.
  • Mitigate material shortages through internal and external escalation.
  • Perform unplanned component demand verification and upload.
  • Manage material requirement changes and dispositions.
  • Ensure the correct material is used by matching it to the bill of materials, and complete substitution or dispositioning activity accurately and promptly to maintain proper inventory accounting.
  • Perform reorder point sizing activities monthly.
  • Work with buyers and production planners to ensure all materials are available and located before work orders move to production.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or business management.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and Tableau.
  • Experience with Syteline enterprise resource planning.
  • CPIM certification.
