Requirements
  • Be a member in good standing of the OIIQ.
  • Have at least 2 years of required experience in intermediate care or a critical-care unit, such as intensive care or emergency.
  • Have completed and passed an arrhythmia course.
  • Have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Attend one mandatory orientation day on November 3, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Provide continuous clinical monitoring, assess patients admitted to intermediate care, and deliver their care.
  • Accurately interpret telemetry tracings and respond promptly to changes in heart rhythm.
  • Perform complex interventions and acute care for highly dependent patients.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team and medical staff in critical-care units.
Desired Qualifications
  • Be comfortable caring for an intubated patient receiving mechanical ventilation.
