This marks more than a threefold increase from its ₹167 crore valuation two years earlier. Founded in July 2023 by Utkarsh Gupta and Dishant Daryani, Comet has raised roughly $19 million to date. The company's revenue nearly quadrupled to ₹29 crore in FY25, though losses widened to ₹4.39 crore. Comet positions itself between mass-market Indian brands and global sportswear giants, using limited-edition drops to build brand hype. The company spent ₹9.3 crore on advertising and promotions in FY25, nearly a third of its revenue. The fresh capital will fund retail expansion beyond its current 10 stores and deeper investment in product development and supply chain ownership.
