THE ROLE: The Materials Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the new production work order process to facilitate material & labor demand, and for monitoring the short-term (0-3 months) production demand. This role will also identify bottlenecks related to the supply chain and order flow and take appropriate action to resolve.  We offer a full benefits package to include 4 WEEKS Paid Time Off (PTO) for hourly positions, health, dental, vision, investment savings plan, and other additional miscellaneous benefits.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:  To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Generate, modify, distribute, and analyze work orders
• Review service description bill of materials (BOM) and identify/add additional CTO parts
• Review and reevaluate material status reports to support/insure on time planned production
• Address shortages or potential delays with supply chain team of buyers and planners
• Run reports and analyze for team review and collaboration
• Back up Production Scheduler as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Experience with work order function, flow, and processes (minimum 2-3 years’ experience)
• Experience coordinating and expediting material and parts
• Experience reviewing production schedules
• Strong multi-tasking abilities with flexibility to adapt to changes quickly
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and task management skills
• Self-directed problem solver, responsible, accountable, with ability to stay focused
• Proven capability to manage timelines and deadlines
• Comfortable with all levels of the organization
• Motivated team player – enjoys working in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Outlook, and Word

Preferred Qualifications:

• Manufacturing environment experience
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  
  

DAY IN THE LIFE:

In this role, the physical demands may include but not limited to sitting and standing for long periods of time, reaching, bending, and moving about the facility, and lifting of up to 25 pounds.
