Night Team Leader
About the job
- Ability to use property management system software such as OPERA Cloud.
- Competency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage night shifts responsibly.
- Availability to work night shifts from 10:45 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends.
- Understanding of hotel and financial security procedures, as well as guest confidentiality.
- Fluency in English.
- Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Carry out the Night Audit.
- Assist in effectively running front office operations with a hands-on approach.
- Provide guidance and support to the Reception team, helping them achieve their potential and accomplish departmental objectives.
- Prepare and distribute relevant reports to internal departments.
- Manage and confirm reservation details and accounts for in-house guests, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
- Support hotel operations and assist other departments in preparing for the next day.
- Provide food and beverage service during the night shift.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests while assisting with hotel operations.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Clean and maintain public areas, including the front entrance, lobby, bar, and staff areas.
- Follow the hotel's fire safety procedures and assist with emergency situations when needed.
- Manage daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and complete daily revenue postings.
- Assist in promoting sales within the department and maximize sales opportunities.
- Previous experience in a similar front office leadership role is preferred.
- Experience in hospitality is preferred but not required.
