Provi is looking for an HR Project Manager. The HR Project Manager holds an important role in helping shape the future of HR at Provi. They will serve various HR teams on a range of projects to create advanced HR solutions to serve our Company. A proven problem solver who can work in a fast-paced environment and drive extensive change in HR technology and processes.
What you’ll be doing
- Determines and discerns detailed requirements on larger scale HR projects to establish the project deliverables, while managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs to keep the project management plan updated and reflective of authorized project changes.
- Deliver project plans, charters, charts, and timelines to staff and manage projects of varying length, complexity, and scope (ranging from small-scale to yearly large-scale).
- Identifies and manages project and program interdependencies.
- Facilitates the creation and approval of business cases and utilizes historical data and expert judgment to understand project limitations.
- Act as liaison between Human Resources, stakeholders, and contributors.
- Establishes and maintains team members and project stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications.
- Manage stakeholder needs and effectively negotiate tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and participation.
- Balance needs of multiple stakeholders and gain buy-in from groups who may be resistant to change.
- Develops and manages project risk and issue management plans.
- Analyzes risks by probability and severity to assess their impact on project delivery.
- Implements procedures to mitigate risk threats.
- Develops project organization chart and governance structures.
- Defines roles and responsibilities of team members.
- Creates performance and status reports for relevant stakeholders, creates and edits project communication assets, and coordinates with internal communications teams to broadcast targeted messaging of projects and initiatives.
- Identifies and develops strategy for changes in scope, schedule, and cost.
- Develops strategic rationale for changes to costs, benefits, trade offs, etc.
- Creates a transition plan, identifies lessons learned, and applies the lessons learned to future projects.
- Develop user guides and system documentation. (i.e., maintain project plans; folders; milestones; resource requirements; and communication related to projects.)
- Manage & own compliance activities and employment policies.
What we are looking for
- 3+ years project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin or the equivalent in work experience
- Experienced with HR data systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to compile and analyze data
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of data
- Must be able to tell a story with data
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to explain data and metrics to non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- 5+ years broad HR experience, understanding of each discipline
- 5+ years of project management disciplines, best practices, and artifacts
- 5+ years of hands-on HR experience managing HR related projects of increasing complexity
- Experience in scrum and Agile methodologies preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Program Management Professional (PgMP)
