About the role:
The Consultant Strategy & Relations Director will be a key connector to consulting firms and our organization as part of the Consultant Strategy & Relations team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy for aligned consulting firms and for managing the relationships both externally and internally to drive pipeline activity and support growth. In addition, this role will partner with Sales and Client Success to bring forth consultant viewpoints and assist with opportunities to differentiate our messaging.
Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the Senior Director of Consultant Strategy & Relations, develop and execute a strategy for aligned consulting firms
- Manage and build relationships with aligned consulting firms in order to drive preference of Included Health’s products and services
- Prioritize which consultants and local markets to focus education and messaging efforts
- Facilitate meetings with consultants to understand our differentiators and to drive excitement about our solutions
- Obtain feedback directly from consulting partners on where we succeed and where we need to improve
- Identify market trends, successes and opportunities for Included Health to continue along a path of scalable growth
- Manage, negotiate and expand our existing consultant agreements and develop/scale new ones where opportunities arise
- Monitor and compile key themes and insights from consultant surveys, social media publications and press releases for firms in which you are aligned
- In collaboration with the Consultant Strategy & Relations team, develop targeted messaging for the consultant community; partner with Sales and Customer Success to deliver targeted messaging
- Articulate Included Health differentiators and value prop in general, and when appropriate, on employer-specific opportunities
- Partner with Sales and Client Success on key opportunities by bringing the voice of the consultant and helping strategize how to best partner with the consultant to win
- Inform future roadmap and product packaging based on input from the consulting community
In your first 30 days:
- Onboard remotely with the Included Health team through general and Go-To-Market specific training to become familiar with Included Health products and solutions
- Work with the Consultant Strategy & Relations team to understand our consultant relationships and identify areas of opportunity
- Begin to build relationships and support colleagues in Sales and Client Success
- Meet leaders of other Go-To-Market teams and understand their roles and responsibilities
In your first 60 days:
- Have a deep understanding of the Included Health value proposition
- Develop a strong internal network
- Engage with Product Marketing to provide input on packaging, market competitiveness; sharing feedback on our messaging approach and how it’s landing (we want your ideas and perspective)
- Build out a plan to drive growth for aligned consulting firms
In your first 90 days:
- Roll out the plan internally to key stakeholders in GTM
- Begin meetings with local consultants
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of building and leveraging solid relationships that lead to revenue growth
- Solid understanding of the healthcare industry
- Experience at a consulting firm
- Experience in a consultant relations role within a complex healthcare organization is a plus
- Experience in consultative sales and building and negotiating revenue share programs is a plus
- Experience in a high growth, fast changing environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information and messages to a broad and diverse audience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to travel (travel amount TBD)
- Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
- Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
- No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
- Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $149,450 - $211,100 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $171,868 - $242,765 + equity + benefits
Zone C: $186,813 - $263,875 + equity + benefits
Zone D: $194,285 - $274,430 + equity + benefits
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health’s commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.
Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone’s unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations. In addition to earning a base salary, this role is eligible for a performance-based bonus. Details of the Annual Bonus Plan, including performance metrics, target incentives, and potential earnings, will be discussed during the interview process.
