Ami is building a pre-launch consumer social platform that aims to bridge online networks with real-world interactions. The product encourages spontaneous, in-person meetings by combining serendipity, location awareness, and mutual friends to prompt real-time social gatherings. Operating in stealth, the platform targets users seeking more authentic connections beyond screens and aims to reduce perceived inauthenticity and isolation caused by excessive digital use. The concept is supported by founders Andrew Frame and Shawn Fanning, with backing from investors like Founders Fund and 8VC.
