NCR Voyix has integrated the TruAge digital age-verification solution across its point-of-sale portfolio for convenience and fuel retailers in the United States. The integration allows retailers to verify age and identify fake or expired IDs by scanning physical or digital driver's licences at checkout. TruAge uses anonymised tokens to confirm eligibility without storing personal information. NCR Voyix RPOS customers can deploy the solution through an API integration from Cullinan Group, whilst the new Voyix POS for CFR includes native support. The integration makes TruAge available to more than 20,000 stores using NCR Voyix RPOS. According to NACS, approximately 75% of the convenience marketplace can now access TruAge through existing point-of-sale technology. The solution aims to strengthen compliance whilst preserving customer convenience for age-restricted purchases.
