Requirements
  • Be a member in good standing of the OIIQ.
  • Have clinical autonomy on the evening shift, a strong sense of responsibility, and rigor.
  • Have prior experience in a long-term care facility (CHSLD).
  • Be available to cover all dates in both work blocks and attend the orientation days.
Responsibilities
  • Assess residents’ health, determine and implement nursing care plans in a CHSLD.
  • Provide nursing care and required medical treatments during the evening shift while respecting residents’ dignity.
  • Exercise clinical leadership with the evening-care team, including auxiliary nurses and beneficiary attendants.
  • Maintain clinical records and provide a thorough handoff at the 11:30 p.m. shift change.
Desired Qualifications
  • Candidates able to cover both complete seven-day work blocks will be prioritized.
