Requirements
  • Own transportation, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record are required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • The employee must be able to stand for extended durations and perform repetitive motions, including lifting or hammering.
  • The employee must be able to use their hands to handle, finger, or feel; reach, climb, or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel, and sit; and see and smell, including close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth vision, and the ability to focus.
  • The employee must regularly lift or move 60 pounds and occasionally move 80 pounds or more.
  • The role requires working outdoors.
  • The employee must handle and maintain company-assigned equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Observe and document construction activities to assure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Monitor and test the moisture and density of soils using a nuclear density testing gauge.
  • Test concrete for slump, air content, and unit weight.
  • Test asphalt for temperature and compaction.
  • Assist laboratory and drilling personnel as requested.
  • Use civil drawings, project specifications, and geotechnical reports effectively.
  • Complete daily reports, testing documents, timesheets, and expense reports completely and in a timely manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • NICET, WACEL, and/or ACI certifications are preferred.
