Your north star:  Establish our internal product design function and ship world-class user experiences to help our users make better energy choices.

Role Description:

We are seeking a product design lead with a primary focus on creating loved consumer experiences.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience as a product designer at a fast-growing consumer technology company.

• Proven track record of building experiences that users love, with a focus on driving growth and performance.

• Expert in user-centered design: Understands and applies lean experimentation, rapid prototyping, and feedback-driven iteration.

• Cross-functional team collaboration to deliver high-quality experiences.

• Looking for candidates who inspire and engage through clear, passionate communication. Diverse perspectives welcome.

• Outstanding strategic and analytical thinking to optimize for user needs and business goals

Responsibilities:

• Be the founder of Arbor’s design team. Chart the course through culture to vision to execution in shaping our products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and develop design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

• Drive innovation and creativity in our design approach.

• Conduct user research and testing to validate design decisions.

• Hire, mentor, and develop junior designers on the team.

Location & Work Environment:

While this position is fully remote, candidates should be located within a reasonable distance of one of our hub locations in Boston or Austin.
