Industrial Maintenance Technician
About the job
- A high school diploma and 2–5 years of experience in food processing or industrial maintenance are required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems are required.
- Experience with aseptic packaging equipment is required; Tetra Pak experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers, variable frequency drives, motion control, and electrical systems is required.
- Familiarity with boilers, compressors, chillers, and cooling systems is required.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation is required.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and computer applications is required.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and servo systems is required.
- Perform mechanical and electromechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Respond to equipment issues, diagnose root causes, and implement timely solutions.
- Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Ensure all repairs are tested, validated, and production-ready.
- Accurately document work in computerized maintenance management systems and maintenance logs.
- Support maintenance planning, including parts, tools, and scheduling.
- Lead resolution of recurring or complex equipment issues.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
- Experience with Tetra Pak aseptic packaging equipment.
