Requirements
- A high school education or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of facilities-related experience is required.
- General computer knowledge, including computer hardware repair and setup, is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, multitask, and instruct users on resolving computer-related problems is required.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills are required.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills are required.
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills are required.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds is required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and upkeep sites, buildings, and related services, including hanging materials and performing light facilities work and repairs.
- Coordinate with coworkers to assign request orders and advise workers to ensure repairs are properly completed.
- Answer employee and student technical questions and resolve issues by telephone, email, or in person.
- Provide technical support to staff and users at all levels.
- Assist the IT team with computer setup, printer toner changes, and installation and repair of company computer hardware and software.
- Distribute books and materials, proctor entrance assessments, support student servicing departments, and assist with other campus nontechnical tasks as assigned by the Campus Director.
