REPORTS TO: Head of Commercial Planning & Analytics

LOCATION: Leeds/London

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:

Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling, to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
Analyze key financial metrics and KPIs to provide insights into business drivers and performance trends.

Budgeting and Forecasting Support:

Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process by gathering financial data, preparing budget templates, and supporting the development of budget and forecast models.
Collaborate with business units and departments to gather inputs and assumptions for budget and forecast development.

Reporting and Dashboard Development:

Generate and distribute regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate financial performance and key insights to senior management and key stakeholders.

Develop and maintain reporting templates and dashboards to streamline reporting processes and enhance visibility into key performance metrics.

Data Management and Analysis:

Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis by maintaining robust data governance processes and controls.
Conduct ad-hoc data analysis as needed to support decision-making and address business inquiries.

Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:

Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, accounting, operations, and other departments to gather data, understand business drivers, and support decision-making.
Communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders through presentations, reports, and meetings.

Here are some of the things you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience in financial analysis, planning, or related roles, preferably in a corporate finance or FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) function.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and draw insights to drive business decisions.
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
