Requirements

At least 8 years of working experience.
Be a qualified or partly qualified accountant.
Have good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and willingness to gain working knowledge of other generally accepted accounting principles, including UK GAAP, US GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
Have experience or exposure to accounting for structures holding alternative assets, including real estate assets, debt, and private equity.
Have exposure to working with teams across the globe.
Be well organized and able to work within tight deadlines.
Have excellent spoken and written English.
Have experience reviewing the work of others and coaching.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients and structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Prepare and/or review financial statements in compliance with GAAP, including IFRS, US GAAP, FRS 102, and Luxembourg GAAP.
Prepare and/or review accounting files, including checklists to support effective review of financial statements.
Work closely with sending locations to ensure accounting records are accurate and portfolio transactions and activity are understood and incorporated into disclosures as appropriate.
Complete day-to-day matters in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Ensure high-quality service delivery.
Monitor discrepancies and resolve them professionally.
Process review, client, and audit comments and support completion of milestones and deadlines.
Identify and close out accounting issues promptly.
Prepare accounts review checklists to support effective review of financial statements and save signed copies on the appropriate drive.
Perform other duties to support the Manager and team as necessary.

Description

Key responsibilities

Provide day-to-day financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients and structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Preparation and/or review of financial statements in compliance with GAAP (IFRS, US GAAP, FRS 102 and LUX GAAP).
Preparation and/or review of accounting files, including checklists to support the effective review of the financial statements.

Skills / experience

8+ years’ working experience.
Qualified/ Partly Qualified accountant.
Passionate about financial markets and reporting.
Good knowledge of IFRS and willingness to gain working knowledge of other GAAPs such as UK GAAP, US GAAP, Lux GAAP and SFRS.
Experience/exposure of accounting for structures holding alternative assets, including Real Estate assets; Debt & Private Equity.
Exposure in working with other Teams across the Globe.
Well organised and can work within tight deadlines.
Excellent spoken and written English.
Experience in reviewing the work of others and coaching.
