Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor of Science program in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a similar program.
Responsibilities
  • Perform verification testing against written test protocols.
  • Design test procedures, perform custom tests, and analyze data to support qualifications and design enhancements.
  • Research practical applications of new technologies.
  • Assist in rapid prototyping of circuit board assemblies.
  • Perform data entry and analysis and summarize results in test reports.
  • Support the design, development, and documentation of test fixtures and prototype circuit boards.
  • Work hands-on with laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, Instron equipment, and high-speed cameras, to support design testing, identify bugs, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Manage project documentation, including protocols, reports, and design history file documentation, and drive team alignment and approvals.
  • Assist with or lead Engineering Change Orders.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Insulet develops and manufactures insulin delivery devices for people with diabetes, led by the Omnipod tubeless, waterproof insulin pump system. The pod is worn on the body to deliver insulin under the skin, and is controlled wirelessly by a personal diabetes manager; Omnipod 5 adds automated insulin delivery that adjusts dosing using CGM data. The key differences are a tubeless, tubing-free design and ongoing updates that integrate automated dosing with CGMs, supported by a global manufacturing and distribution network.
