Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in public relations, marketing, communications, journalism, digital media, or an equivalent combination is required.
  • Experience creating and managing digital content for websites, blogs, social media, multimedia content, and other online platforms is required.
  • Experience using data to make decisions about marketing campaign placement, flighting, and optimization is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, project planning, and editorial judgment are required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines is required.
  • Thorough knowledge of digital marketing and experience using multiple forms of new media and technologies are required.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and recruitment processes, including basic knowledge of HTML and web content management systems, is required.
  • Experience measuring and monitoring digital marketing and applying analytics to marketing and recruitment strategies is required.
  • Experience working with and managing external vendors and internal stakeholders is required.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management systems for tracking marketing campaigns is required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to achieve graduate enrollment goals in alignment with leadership directives.
  • Oversee the organization and coordination of activities with partner vendors providing digital marketing, media, and research services.
  • Suggest new approaches for promoting NYU Wagner.
  • Partner with the supervisor to oversee effective, well-coordinated multichannel marketing campaign execution.
  • Write, create, and publish marketing content across web, email, social media, and multimedia channels.
  • Develop and maintain metrics to measure the success of marketing and recruitment efforts, including UTM tracking and return on investment analyses.
  • Ensure adherence to the school's overall brand and marketing strategies.
  • Supervise marketing staff and student workers.
  • Manage external vendors and budgets.
  • Use the Slate customer relationship management system, Google Analytics, and on-platform analytics to support marketing initiatives.
  • Provide reports and dashboards with summaries, analyses, and recommendations for leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Experience working at or managing advertising agency partners is preferred.
  • Experience managing staff and a marketing budget is preferred.
  • Proficiency in video, audio, digital photography processes, and editing software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with iMovie and/or Final Cut Pro is preferred.
  • Proficiency in or familiarity with Google Analytics, AdWords, and Tag Manager is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Slate is preferred.
  • Graphic design skills are preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital accessibility standards is preferred.
