  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other relevant area.
  • 2-5 years in purchasing environment with experience developing and executing procurement category strategies.
  • 2-5 years of proven track-record in negotiations
  • 2-5 years of project management experience
  • 2-5 years of knowledge of procurement systems (SAP, Ivalue, Coupa, etc.)
  • Strong Experience managing supplier performance in terms of delivery, quality and cost
  • Thorough knowledge of automotive, manufacturing or related industries
  • MS Office Suite Experience
Responsibilities
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Scout team to identify the right suppliers to build and supply products & services, including participating in pre-souring audits to confirm acceptability of new suppliers.
  • Establish sourcing strategy for assigned production equipment and other CAPEX products/services, lead the sourcing process up to and including contract award
  • Act as program manager during the post-award phase, ensuring that all industrialization at suppliers achieve the project requirements in terms of timing, cost, and quality.
  • Evaluate and apply technical changes to products or services, ensuring that cost, quality and delivery objectives are met.
  • Lead cross-functional evaluation of suppliers’ preparedness for each project, together with other Scout Business Units (Engineering, Finance, Legal, etc.).
  • Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and nomination agreements.
