GoMaterials is a B2B marketplace that helps landscaping professionals buy plants, trees, and other landscaping materials from a network of wholesale nurseries. It streamlines the entire procurement process—from sourcing and quoting to delivery logistics—so landscape businesses can save time and avoid issues like late deliveries or poor quality. The platform connects buyers with nurseries, digitizes procurement, and coordinates order placement and delivery to optimize supply chain efficiency. Unlike generic marketplaces, GoMaterials focuses specifically on the landscaping industry and builds value through a curated network of wholesale plant suppliers and end-to-end procurement capabilities across regions in the United States and Canada. The company aims to improve operational efficiency and growth for landscaping construction businesses by simplifying sourcing, pricing, and logistics, helping them scale more effectively.

What believers are saying

  • GoMaterials updated its site July 27, 2026, signaling active product and marketing investment.
  • The press page remained active through June 1, 2026, showing ongoing market communication.
  • PitchBook lists Fortius Ventures, Good News Ventures, I2BF Global Ventures, and Lazaridis Institute.

What critics are saying

  • Marketplace value depends on nursery supply; any wholesaler defection crushes inventory depth.
  • If contractors adopt SiteOne's bundled procurement, GoMaterials loses the two-sided marketplace entirely.
  • Takeoff Monkey can route procurement around GoMaterials if the integration favors direct workflows.

What makes GoMaterials unique

  • GoMaterials bundles estimation, quoting, and logistics for wholesale plant procurement, unlike directories.
  • Its July 21, 2025 Takeoff Monkey integration embeds procurement into contractor takeoffs.
  • The platform focuses on nursery sourcing, a niche ignored by general construction marketplaces.
