Position located at our Plant in Walker, MI with a shift from 6 AM-4:30 PM MT and some overtime.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Technical Skills – Can read and interpret electrical prints, wiring and ladder diagrams, schematics, and other technical literature.
  • Ability to use multi-meter, oscilloscope, or other electrical testing equipment.
  • Understanding of electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to create, modify, and troubleshoot robot programs.
  • Ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery and equipment.
  • Proven mechanical and equipment repair skills.
Responsibilities
  • Read, interpret, and update electrical prints, wiring and ladder diagrams, schematics and other technical literature.
  • Diagnose and repair faulty controls systems with a multi-meter, oscilloscope, or other electrical testing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Modify, write, and troubleshoot robot programs.
  • Participate in preventative actions where appropriate. Conducts corrective actions and perform problem solving analysis and reporting as required.
  • Ability to apply common sense and deal with a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to understand and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Maintain and participate in housekeeping for personal work area and shared facility space.
