Ability to stand and walk for long periods throughout a shift.
Ability to operate general office equipment, including a personal computer, telephone, and copier.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to unload and stock food orders.

Responsibilities
Prepare Traditional Club Snack and Supper and assist with early childhood education and care as needed.
Assist the Kitchen Manager with weekly inventory and food deliveries.
Unload pallets and food orders.
Complete Food Safe training and ensure the kitchen meets required standards.
Keep the kitchen and café clean and sanitized, including washing dishes.
Assist with café program development and create nutritional menus.
Assist with Club special events as needed.
Assist at the primary location and provide support to other Club locations as needed.
Support food transportation and food service across sites as necessary using a Club-owned vehicle.
Assist with meal preparation and kitchen operations at alternate locations when needed.
Lead the implementation and successful completion of assigned grant programs.
Attend all monthly staff meetings, weekly one-on-one meetings with the supervisor, and weekly team meetings, and ensure the team receives and attends its meetings.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for overseeing the kitchen and café including food orders, food preparation, cooking, serving, and ensuring cleanliness post meal and ongoing. Responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets licensing and health requirements.

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working with youth of ages Preschool through 12th Grade is preferred.
