Requirements
  • Hold a full manual valid United Kingdom driving licence with fewer than six penalty points.
  • Have experience using practical and mechanical skills.
  • Be able to complete vehicle deep cleans to a high standard.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional approach to customers and colleagues.
  • Have excellent organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to work to tight deadlines and act on own initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Repair, service, and maintain vehicles and equipment according to the manufacturer's guidelines, including topping up washer fluid, changing oil, bulbs, and wipers.
  • Schedule and perform vehicle deep cleans to a high standard and complete supporting documentation.
  • Promptly clear vehicle defects and complete supporting documentation.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of basic spare parts within the contract and report defects according to the defect process.
  • Work safely and comply with Health and Safety and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations.
  • Advise the fleet management team when a product cannot be repaired to a safe standard.
  • Report equipment involved in an incident to the fleet management team.
  • De-kit vehicles scheduled for disposal before collection and log all equipment removed.
  • Manage vehicles that are off the road and update the status daily.
  • Update the Fleetcheck fleet management system daily to record completed maintenance events.
  • Cover scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and repairs efficiently and effectively.
  • Control parts stock levels and replenish parts as they are used.
