  • Candidates should understand, or be able to quickly develop fluency in, SGP.02 and SGP.32 GSMA standards supporting remote SIM provisioning and lifecycle management for connected devices.
  • Candidates should understand, or be able to quickly develop fluency in, carrier and MVNO models for mobile network operators, roaming providers, and connectivity platforms delivering and pricing cellular service.
  • Candidates should understand, or be able to quickly develop fluency in, native and roaming profiles and the commercial, regulatory, and performance differences between direct carrier access and roaming connectivity.
  • Candidates should understand, or be able to quickly develop fluency in, LTE, 5G, and LTE-M cellular technologies used across low-data IoT, mobility, and high-bandwidth applications.
  • Candidates should understand, or be able to quickly develop fluency in, global coverage and compliance, including operational and regulatory considerations for deploying devices across multiple countries.
  • Candidates should understand, or be able to quickly develop fluency in, private networking, including private APNs, VPNs, static IP, IPsec, and other methods for securely connecting devices with customer infrastructure.
  • Candidates should understand, or be able to quickly develop fluency in, connectivity lifecycle management, including provisioning, activation, suspension, profile changes, usage monitoring, and device deactivation.
  • Candidates should understand, or be able to quickly develop fluency in, APIs and platform integration for connecting connectivity management with customer products and operating systems.

  • Experience selling to connected-device manufacturers in telematics, mobility, robotics, energy, healthcare, security, industrial technology, or transportation.
  • Relationships with global OEMs, carriers, hardware manufacturers, systems integrators, or enterprise technology partners.
  • Experience displacing incumbent carriers or IoT connectivity providers.
  • Familiarity with factory-direct deployments and global supply chains.
  • Experience working in a high-growth startup where processes and responsibilities continue to evolve.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience.
Responsibilities
  • Build and close a pipeline of large enterprise and global OEM opportunities.
  • Use established customer relationships and industry connections to open doors with senior decision-makers.
  • Develop account plans for customers with significant connected-device and global connectivity requirements.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple business units, countries, and stakeholders.
  • Lead executive discovery to understand customers’ products, deployment plans, operational challenges, and commercial objectives.
  • Work with Solutions Engineering, Product, Operations, Finance, and Legal throughout technical validation, pricing, and contract negotiations.

About the company

Teal Communications, Inc.

View

Teal Communications provides a global eSIM platform for IoT devices, enabling connection to more than 2,000 cellular networks in 195 countries. By automatically selecting the best network based on price, coverage, and quality, it eliminates roaming costs and handoffs. The eSIM stays embedded in devices for the entire lifecycle (about 15–20 years) without physical maintenance, even as devices move worldwide. Teal supports current networks including 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE-M, NB-IoT, and plans to cover 5G in the future, offering a subscription-based model where customers pay for access to the platform and connectivity, with potential data usage or premium feature fees. The main differentiators are its broad global network access, automated network optimization, lifecycle-long eSIMs, and device-agnostic scalability. Teal’s goal is to remove roaming friction and provide scalable, reliable, globe-spanning IoT connectivity for enterprises and organizations deploying devices worldwide.
