Sr. Maintenance Manager

Are you ready to bring your technical expertise and leadership skills to an innovative and dynamic environment? We’re looking for a Sr. Maintenance Manager to be the mastermind behind our manufacturing operations, ensuring our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently!
As our Sr. Maintenance Manager, you’ll be the go-to technical advisor for our site leadership team. You’ll lead a talented maintenance crew, implement a stellar maintenance and reliability strategy, and support our lean manufacturing goals. If you have a knack for optimizing operations and keeping everything running like a well-oiled machine, this is the perfect role for you!
What You’ll Do
• Oversee the maintenance, improvement, installation, and safe operation of our food processing equipment, ensuring compliance with all regulations (OSHA, FDA, SQF, AIB, EPA, GMP, NFPA, NEC, and more).
• Collaborate with the operations team to set and achieve production line metrics such as efficiency, uptime, and reliability.
• Provide top-notch technical support for all production equipment in the facility.
• Ensure our lines meet standard operating rates and improve uptime and reliability.
• Manage inventory and parts supply efficiently.
• Develop plans to enhance equipment designs and department procedures.
• Lead proactive maintenance programs and drive our asset integrity and reliability initiatives using techniques like TPM and Lean Six Sigma.
• Optimize costs through effective budget planning and management, identifying and implementing cost-saving ideas.
• Interface with vendors, contractors, and various departments as a technical resource.
• Manage a team of technicians, fostering their performance, training, and career development.
• Tackle other exciting projects and duties as directed by Plant Management.
What You’ll Bring
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or project engineering, preferably in food processing and consumer packaged goods industries.
• 5+ years of supervisory and people management experience.
• TPM and CMRP certifications are preferred.
• A proven track record in leading maintenance teams and supporting lean manufacturing.
• Exceptional project management, data analysis, and communication skills.
• A collaborative spirit and a talent for creating a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Education and Experience
• Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of industrial maintenance management experience (preferably in food processing); OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of industrial maintenance management experience (preferably in food processing); OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
