Meet the team:
The Visualization team is responsible for the software used to visually understand the inner workings of autonomous systems. The software that we develop is crucial for the development of our complex distributed systems. Visualization software is used by both developers and analysts to understand, debug and develop every aspect of the system from sensing, to planning to control. As a Visualization developer you will work with individuals and teams across the organization to design and implement user interfaces, 3D graphics, 2D plots and more in several related cross-platform C++ programs.
This internship will be 12 weeks in length.
What you’ll do:
- Implement new features within an established, specialized Visualization application
- Develop new user interfaces with the ImGui immediate mode UI library
- Develop new 3D visualization with the Magnum graphics library
- Work with autonomy developers to visualize new aspects of the autonomous system
- Work with web developers to expand the capabilities of our browser-based visualization programs
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field. Must be enrolled in a full time degree program at the time of the internship and for the semester following the internship (Fall 2024)
