Requirements
  • Have roughly 1 to 3 years in private equity deal sourcing or business development, investment banking, growth equity, venture capital, transaction services, or selling into the sponsor community.
  • Understand fund structures, hold periods, value creation plans, and sponsor-to-portfolio-company dynamics well enough to hold a five-minute conversation with an operating partner without bluffing.
  • Read a portfolio page and form a fast, defensible view on which three companies have the problem Stuut solves, and explain why.
  • Write concise, specific outreach without padding.
  • Be comfortable with rejection at volume and have prior experience in work where most answers were no.
  • Already use artificial intelligence to compress research and prefer building workflows over repeating tasks.
  • Be willing to learn commercial skills, accept coaching directly, and be honest about knowledge gaps.
Responsibilities
  • Map and tier sponsor books according to Stuut's thesis, identify portfolio companies with order-to-cash pain, and distinguish relevant companies from noise.
  • Identify the appropriate contact at each target, such as an operating partner, portfolio operations lead, portfolio-company chief financial officer, or Controller.
  • Write and send cold email, LinkedIn, and relationship-based outreach using original copy rather than a template library.
  • Book and prepare first meetings for the Head of Private Equity Partnerships with a written brief covering the sponsor, portfolio-company thesis, and specific angle.
  • Run first meetings independently as proficiency develops, beginning with lower-tier sponsors and progressing to larger sponsors.
  • Translate customer outcomes into language relevant to private equity firms and support customer data analyses during portfolio review check-ins.
  • Maintain HubSpot records for private-equity firms, portfolio-company associations, deal-sourcing attribution, and stage tracking.
  • Build a repeatable portfolio research engine for rapidly triaging sponsor books, including artificial-intelligence-assisted workflows and automation of repeated research.
  • Conduct account and portfolio research for live deals, sponsor meetings, and conference preparation.
  • Analyze sponsor and portfolio-company patterns and report which sponsor types convert, which portfolio profiles buy, and which messaging angles perform.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience selling data and services into the sponsor community.
  • Comfort taking coaching directly and developing commercial skills.

Daily AI Digest: Voyage agents, receivables and Cloudflare OS.

Daily AI Digest: Voyage agents, receivables and Cloudflare OS. This is the GolemWorkers Daily AI Digest for August 5. Today's edition follows agents that plan sea voyages, collect overdue invoices, surface contract obligations, build internal apps, enforce endpoint rules and coordinate coding work - then gives you a supervised vendor-renewal agent you can put to work. ZeroNorth's Propel agent plans voyages and handles ship-to-shore follow-up. Propel builds voyage plans, exchanges feedback with a ship's master and re-optimizes when weather or routing changes. The early-access service works overnight at a supervised autonomy level, leaving operators a prioritized queue and the final decision on what gets sent. Fiserv and Stuut bring an accounts-receivable agent into enterprise payments. Fiserv will connect Stuut's agent with Commerce Hub and SnapPay for eligible businesses, covering collections, cash application, payments, disputes and deductions inside existing finance systems. Stuut says its agent has already collected more than $2 billion in B2B invoices; rollout remains subject to availability and implementation requirements. Ironclad agents turn supplier contracts into renewal and savings alerts. Ironclad's new procurement capabilities extract renewal windows, discounts, rebates, credits and termination rights, while a Contract Family Agent links related supplier agreements into one view. Procurement and legal teams can act on obligations before deadlines instead of searching scattered PDFs and spreadsheets. Cloudflare open-sources a workplace OS where agents build apps and workflows. Cloudflare OS gives each employee a browser workspace grounded in company context and connected tools. Its agents can research, create documents, build shareable internal apps and schedule repeatable workflows, while Gatekeepers limit the resources they can read and require approval for sensitive actions. Airlock adds real-time endpoint rules for trusted AI agents. Airlock Digital's Agentic AI Control & Governance discovers agents, records their commands and files, and checks each requested action against central policy on the endpoint. It is designed to work across supported tools including Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Codex, with general availability expected in the third quarter. Claude Code closes subagent isolation gaps and screens cross-agent messages. Claude Code 2.1.222 now keeps worktree-isolated subagents from running destructive Git commands against the main checkout, closes an auto-allow hook bypass in background tasks and applies its permission classifier to messages sent between agent sessions. The previous day's 2.1.221 release also added masked credential files on Linux and WSL and gives forked sessions separate worktrees. Agent idea of the day Build a vendor-renewal watchdog before the deadline. What this agent does. Continuously find upcoming supplier and software renewals, assemble the evidence needed to keep, renegotiate or cancel each one, and stop before any external commitment. Best for: Founders, finance leads and operations teams managing recurring software, services or supplier agreements across inboxes, shared drives and spreadsheets. Give it. * A read-only folder of executed contracts, order forms and invoices * A current vendor list with owners, spend and actual usage * Your notice periods, approval thresholds and preferred escalation channel Tell it to. * Inventory each agreement and extract its renewal date, notice window, owner, price, discounts, rebates and termination terms. * Check the approved usage and billing records, then flag duplicate tools, low adoption, price changes and missed contractual benefits. * Prepare a keep, renegotiate or cancel recommendation with the evidence, uncertainty and deadline shown plainly. * Draft the internal approval note and any vendor email, but do not send, accept terms, cancel service or change payment details. * Wait for the named owner's approval, record the decision and schedule the next checkpoint with a complete audit trail. Run it: Run weekly and again 90, 60 and 30 days before each renewal or notice deadline; alert immediately when a price change or cancellation window appears. You get. A prioritized renewal queue with spend, usage, contractual leverage, recommended action, draft communications and the exact human approval still required. Keep a human in control. * Use read-only access by default and expose only the contracts and financial records assigned to the agent. * Never send vendor messages, accept new terms, cancel a service, move money or alter payment details without explicit approval. * Escalate ambiguous clauses, privacy terms, regulated data, material disputes and high-value commitments to legal or finance owners. * Show source documents, calculations and uncertainty so a human can verify every recommendation. Feasibility: Ironclad's August 5 release documents production capabilities that extract renewal windows, discounts, credits, rebates, termination rights and payment terms, and organize related supplier agreements. Those functions support a supervised renewal-monitoring workflow; this recipe adds usage checks, explicit approval stops and a complete evidence trail before any external action. Source: Ironclad
