Responsibilities
Serve as a contributing member of the ESS and special education team.
Support students within ESS programs and framework by providing one-to-one or shared support, adaptations and accommodations, and assistance staying on task.
Implement Individual Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) to enhance student success and independence.
Provide daily updates to ESS instructors about student participation and behavior.
Desired Qualifications
An Associate of Arts degree is preferred.
Additional post-secondary training relevant to children, adolescents, or young adults is preferred.

As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you’ll work closely with ESS instructors, special education teachers, and general education staff to provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support for students. This is a rewarding opportunity to impact student success while working in a collaborative team environment. Wonder Zone would be working with Preschool students, and Kid Zone would be working with Elementary students.

Strong communication skills with students and adults.

Salary and Benefits:
$19.89 – $24.19 per hour, depending on experience.
Personal time, sick time, and paid holidays.
Benefits are available for employees working 30 hours per week.

Cherry View Elementary - Split Shift - 7:00 am - 10:00 am & 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Lake Marion Elementary - Split Shift - 7:00 am - 10:00 am & 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Oak Hills Elementary - 7:00 am - 9:30 am
Orchard Lake Elementary - Split Shift - 7:00 am - 10:00 am & 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm
