About the Company

AQR Capital Management

Manages investments with quantitative models

AQR Capital Management manages investments for pension plans, endowments, financial advisers and individuals, using systematic models grounded in economics and market data. Its portfolios span traditional stock investments and alternatives designed to earn returns from trading patterns, price gaps and other sources beyond a market index. Research guides portfolio construction, risk controls and trade execution. Clients access its strategies through private funds, separately managed accounts and mutual funds, while the firm earns asset-based advisory fees and performance fees on some investment funds. AQR was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut.
