Requirements
  • 1-3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in the healthcare field.
  • An associate degree in accounting, business, or human resources is preferred.
  • Attention to detail is critical to the position.
  • Customer service skills and confidentiality are required.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a resource for community department directors on the chart of accounts, invoice coding, approval processes, and deadlines while following standard procedures.
  • Oversee routing accounts payable invoices for approval from the time invoices arrive by mail.
  • Reconcile the credit card log to invoices, verify that all credit card receipts are accounted for, and submit documents to the Community Accounting department for replenishment as needed.
  • Review expense reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate accounts payable processing and payment of invoices accurately and promptly.
  • Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment.
  • Back up the HR Manager and assist with HR Manager duties as needed.
