About the job
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Three to five years of successful project management experience with complex control or electrical systems projects for external customers, including external customer-facing experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, technical, oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
- Deliver control systems projects for the power generation industry, including design, manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning.
- Own the profit and loss, schedule performance, and customer satisfaction of assigned projects.
- Plan, execute, and complete projects according to deadlines and within budget.
- Define and track scope, schedule, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
- Delegate tasks and communicate effectively with team members.
- Report project financial status regularly to management.
- Generate change order requests.
- Select and procure electrical contractors for installation.
- Experience with distributed control systems or programmable logic controllers.
- Experience with SFC/SEE systems, including Thyripol, WDR, or RG3.
- Technical or commercial knowledge of combined-cycle power plants.
- Cybersecurity or North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection knowledge.
- Project management, Project Management Professional, or International Project Management Association certification.
