Snowflake is actively seeking a proven technical leader with strong go-to-market acumen to join the Field CTO Office and drive its industry solutions strategy. In this role, you will work with partners, product management, marketing, and theater sales to assist in articulating the unique value of the Snowflake’s Data Cloud using industry specific offerings, solutions and content to drive new business opportunities and expand Snowflake workloads. 

You will lead a team of industry specialists and architects that are building industry led outcomes and innovation across a broad set of global customers. You will be responsible to help the team  maintain its edge, promote best practices, create industry specific solution offerings, and enable the field to present Snowflake value via an industry focused lens. 

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:

• Lead cross-functional teams to define and develop industry specific offerings and solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud 
• Manage a global team of brilliant, customer-obsessed industry specialist Field CTOs and architects
• Co-develop solutions and offerings with Snowflake’s extensive partner ecosystem including ISVs, SIs and data providers
• Collaborate with global sales teams, industry GTM, alliances and industry marketing teams as a trusted advisor to drive adoption of solution offerings
• Enable sales teams on industry value proposition and solutions, create programmatic approaches to identify and scale solution-based opportunities
• Present Snowflake’s industry specific value proposition at customer briefings, external events and forums

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 10+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales (quota carrying), technology consulting, or outbound product management capacity with 5+ years of direct line management experience (hiring, training, and retaining top talent)
• Experience working in and leading an industry team
• Strong domain expertise in either consumer focused industries, financial services, manufacturing or healthcare
• Knowledge and/or experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and/or Machine Learning with a focus on selling enterprise SaaS software
• Outstanding and effective presentation skills to both internal and external technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos

Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
