Requirements
  • You have a post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., business/commerce, business management, finance, etc.).
  • You have a strong understanding of end-to-end mortgage operations processes, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development. A minimum of three years’ mortgage or financial institution experience is required.
  • You are computer literate with a sound knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • You have a demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems.
Responsibilities
  • Report to the Manager, Operations.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to, and liaise with, internal and external customers and partners.
  • Deliver a high level of service to both internal partners and external clients, reflecting the organization’s values and commitment to excellence.
  • Review operational reports for completeness and accuracy. Follow up on discrepancies as necessary and support ongoing data integrity initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Perform regular audit and quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance across deposit and mortgage processes.
  • Participate in mortgage-related investigations with the broader team to help formulate solutions.
  • Carry out and support our mortgage processes, including mortgage payouts, renewals and any mortgage-related account changes.
  • Input and update client information into required systems.
  • Embrace change with a positive attitude. Actively contribute ideas and feedback to improve operational processes and enhance the customer and employee experience.
  • Provide backup and support to peers across the team. Demonstrate flexibility by learning and supporting processes outside the immediate role, including those from other operational areas.
  • You’ll contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive team culture. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and assist others as needed.
  • Work closely with other departments to streamline workflows, enhance daily operations, and ensure alignment across teams.
  • You’re open and willing to learn additional processes across the broader Operations department umbrella, beyond mortgage-specific tasks, to support overall flexibility and team success.

  • Bonus points if you’re familiar with Wealthview Banking, and / or Filogix.
