About the job

Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business, or a related field, or equivalent work history.
  • One to three years in a role such as business or systems analyst, accounts payable or accounting, financial planning and analysis, product or project coordination, or an internship where a workflow was owned end to end.
  • Experience closing a month, running payroll, paying vendors, or understanding those processes through close involvement.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and the ability to read a SQL query or learn SQL within the first 90 days.
  • Ability to turn a 30-minute conversation into a clear one-page specification with no loose ends.
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies and verify totals against source systems before reporting them as correct.
  • Experience using artificial intelligence tools for real work and the ability to assess where they are effective.
Responsibilities
  • Own the finance-systems request queue by documenting, sizing, prioritizing with the controller, and closing each request with a note describing what shipped.
  • Write specifications covering the current process, proposed change, affected data, and success criteria.
  • Test releases against real data before deployment and identify discrepancies in accounts payable totals, payroll cash numbers, or profit-and-loss lines.
  • Run the monthly management-pack cycle with the accounting team, including readiness checks, generation, review, and corrective improvements.
  • Support the accounts-payable inbox by resolving duplicate invoices, missing attachments, poor vendor extraction, and approval routing issues.
  • Manage the company's side of vendor relationships with Sage, Paylocity, Bill.com, Ramp, and CrunchTime.
  • Maintain current workflow documentation and runbooks.
  • Train the team when systems or processes change.
  • Work with accounting and payroll users to understand closing processes and convert workflow needs into specifications, tests, and rollouts.
Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-entity or franchise accounting.
  • Experience in restaurant, retail, or other multi-unit operations.
  • Experience using a work tracker such as Linear or Jira to maintain a clean request queue.

About the company

Who Brew operates 7 Brew drive-through coffee stands in selected local markets. Its teams prepare coffee, energy drinks, teas and other beverages while managing the fast, customer-facing service model associated with the 7 Brew brand. The company recruits baristas and stand leaders for the locations it operates, but it is not the national 7 Brew franchisor. Describing Who Brew as a franchise operator preserves the employer identity represented by its careers site without assigning ownership of the broader brand.
