A high school degree is required.
Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn more are required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
Safely fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using a MIG welder, band saw, shear, metal punch, and measuring tools.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
Determine the structurally appropriate weld size and length when documentation does not specify them.
Read and accurately interpret blueprints to determine operations, required materials, and project timeframes.
Provide the required finished quality, with or without fixturing, within a reasonable time.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Desired Qualifications
AWS or equivalent certification.
Experience with CNC equipment, such as plasma or laser equipment.
Experience programming or operating robotic welding equipment.
