Requirements
  • Provide external and internal clinical services.
  • Have recent, relevant experience in this sector.
  • Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy.
  • Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ).
  • Have strong interpersonal, observational, and collaborative abilities.
  • Be able to work in an interdisciplinary team and adapt to a changing environment.
Responsibilities
  • Assess residents' functional abilities and occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with the care team.
  • Adapt the environment or recommend assistive devices to promote autonomy and safety.
  • Provide rehabilitation and functional stimulation interventions.
  • Participate in clinical committees and continuous improvement of practices.
  • Document follow-ups and interventions according to professional standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in geriatric settings, long-term care, or functional rehabilitation is a major asset.
