  • At least 6 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering and project management.
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • A Georgia Professional Engineer license, or the ability to become registered within 6 months.
  • Technical proficiency in hydraulics and applicable industry standards.
  • Ability to design, review calculations prepared by others, and seal drawings and reports.
  • Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects using earned value management principles.
  • Provide supervision of multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, engineering technicians, geographic information systems analysts, designers, computer-aided design staff, and sub-consultants.
  • Coordinate assigned work to ensure continuity, consistency, and quality.
  • Design and review calculations prepared by others and seal drawings and reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, clients' staff, regulatory agencies, and project teams.
  • Participate in business development activities, including engineering scope and fee preparation, proposal preparation, and marketing activities.
  • Provide client service to internal and external clients.
