About the Company

Farwest Steel

Cuts and distributes steel for manufacturers

Farwest Steel distributes and processes steel for manufacturers, fabricators and construction businesses across the western United States. Its service centers stock plate, sheet, beams and other metal products, then cut and shape material to match customer specifications. The company combines distribution with advanced processing, so customers can buy raw material or order components ready for the next manufacturing step. It also fabricates reinforcing steel and applies corrosion-resistant coatings through its related divisions, serving projects that use steel inside concrete. Farwest earns money from material sales and processing services, and was founded in 1956 in Eugene, Oregon, where it is headquartered.
