Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and identify deficiencies requiring corrective action.
Review construction documents, requests for information, submittals, change orders, and contractor payment applications.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and construction milestones.
Attend progress meetings and assist in resolving field-related issues.
Monitor site safety practices and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
Prepare inspection reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
Assist with punch list inspections, project closeout, and final completion.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with public-sector construction, capital improvement projects, or renovations is preferred.
OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Position Summary Laland Baptiste is seeking an experienced Part-Time Project Manager / Construction Inspector to oversee and inspect construction activities for capital improvement and renovation projects in Syracuse, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, field inspections, contractor coordination, and quality control, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
