Requirements
  • Applicants must have an M.D., D.O., or M.D./Ph.D. degree and at least one year of demonstrated qualifications in clinical care.
  • The candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty trained and board certified or board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
  • The candidate must maintain Pennsylvania medical licensure and DEA licensure without restriction or limitation, as well as New Jersey medical licensure, NJ CDS, and NJ DEA.
  • The candidate must maintain a license to practice medicine without restriction or limitation in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient and possibly inpatient hospital services as required in Penn Medicine owned or affiliated health care entities in the tri-state region.
  • Fulfill medico-administrative duties associated with membership on each hospital medical staff of which the clinician is a member.
  • Participate in a minimum of 50 hours per year of active and high-quality teaching or equivalent service.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and competent professional services in accordance with generally accepted professional standards and University of Pennsylvania Health System standards.
  • Join the established Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, with clinical programs based primarily at satellite practices in New Jersey and also at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
  • Participate in patient safety and quality initiatives.
