Billtrust connects live AR intelligence to Claude and Microsoft Copilot via MCP Server

Billtrust has launched the first accounts receivable platform to connect live invoice-to-cash intelligence to AI assistants Claude and Microsoft Copilot via the Model Context Protocol. Finance teams can now query AR data using plain language directly within these AI tools, receiving instant answers about cash flow, invoice ageing, and payment risk without logging into separate platforms. The Billtrust MCP Server provides structured, read-only access across invoicing, payments, cash application, and AR analytics. Users can ask questions such as "Which accounts are trending late?" and receive ranked lists by outstanding balance and days past due. The system draws on Billtrust's payment intelligence network, which processes data from 13 million buyers and over $1 trillion in annual invoice volume. Future updates will enable users to take action directly within AI workspaces, including sending collections outreach and applying payments. Each customer's data remains isolated within their environment, with complete audit trails for all queries.
